The multi-faceted role of garden ridge library friends
The Garden Ridge Library wouldn't exist without all the wonderful support of the volunteers and those who take an interest in the library activities. The Friends Group plays an active role in:
- Fundraising: Membership drives, special projects, and hosting special events.
- Volunteer Support: Many in the Friends Group also fill regular weekly volunteer time slots, others help with special events.
- Community Awareness: Help promote the library's resources and programs.
- Advocacy: Speaking to city council members, other lawmakers and helping to rally library support.
